The Painting Loose technique I used for this painting was done by covering the paper with Gesso; I let it dry and then paint various acrylic colors all over the paper. I sprinkled alcohol in the wet paint. After that dried I chose one color of a four-color palette fro the background used it to paint around the flower arrangement. The flowers and vase were painted and then portions of the flowers were rubbed with alcohol to give a textured effect.

During the south Georgia fall I loved to walk in the woods around our house enjoying the golden light of the sun as it flowed through the trees creating a lovely study in browns, dark greens and yellow-gold light. To capture the scene I poured browns and yellows over paper that was placed vertically so that the colors would flow down the paper. This painting shows seasonal contrast to the Southern Summer painting.

The first of a series of prophetic paintings this was originally done in mixed water media. The effects around the four dancers were painted with pigment on a wet surface that gave the effect of fire and smoke. The colors of the dancer's dresses signify praise, revelation, life and the Blood of the Lamb. The dancers are in a specific dance position depicting a leap upward, expressing their passion and joy of the Bridegroom's coming. This is a signed, numbered limited-edition 27 3/4" x 20 1/2".
